Middlesex .

The Examination of Patrick Duffey< no role >
charged with Felony by The Governors of the Protestant
of the Parish of Dissenters Orphan School in the Parish
[..] of Saint Luke Old Street , in the County of
Middlesex ; and taken before me Sir Sampson Wright< no role > Knt .
one of his MAJESTY's Justices of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex , this 21st. Day of February
1784.

Who Saith that on Wednesday Evening last between 8 and 9
o'Clock, as this Examinant was walking up Golden Lane , he met
Richard Gulley< no role > now at large, and Terence Caffry< no role > now present, both
of whom Were carrying Lead That said Gulley asked this Examinant
to accompany them, which he did to the House of John London< no role > now
present, in a Court near Cripplegate , who, received said Lead
and weighed it, and it amounted to three Quarters of an Hundred
Weight. That said John London desired said Gulley, Caffry and
this Examinant, would go to the Kings Arms the corner of Beach
Lane , and he London would come to them That said London
came accordingly and paid them Seven Shillings for said
Lead. That said London did not ask them [..] how
they came by said Lead, or from whence they had it, nor any
Questions Relative thereto.
