Plomer Esquire , Lord Mayor< no role > of
the City of London , and the
Worshipful the Aldermen his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the said City, at their General
Quarter Sessions of the Peace
Assemble.

The Humble Petition of
Henry West< no role > , an Inhabitant of
the Parish of Saint Mildred in
the Poultry , London.

Sheweth


That by a Rate and Assessment made for one
whole Year, for the said Parish of Saint Mildred in
the Poultry , commencing the twenty Fifth Day of
March last past, and ending the twenty Fifth Day
of March now next ensuing, your Petitioner was
[..] freed and assessed the Sum of ten Pounds and Four
Shillings, as his share and Proportion towards the
said Rate

That your Petitioner humbly conceives the
said Charge and Assessment of ten Pounds and Four
Shillings, to be illegally, partially, and unequally
assessed upon him, and considerably more than by
Law he ought to pay.

Your Petitioner therefore begs leave
to appeal to this Honourable Court
against the said Rate and Assessment
And Prays that this Honourable
Court will please to take his Case
into Consideration, and to grant him
such Relief as in their Wisdom
shall seem just and reasonable

And your Petitioner shall ever pray Etc.
