At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the said City on Monday
the Eighteenth Day of October in the Nineteenth Year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc Before
Robert Alsop< no role > Esquire one of the Alderman of the City of London John
Adair Serjeant at Law Recorder of the said City Brackley Kennett< no role >
Esquire William Plomer< no role > Esquire Thomas Sainsbury< no role > Esquire other of the
Alderman of the said City and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord
the King assigned to keep the peace of our said Lord the King within the said City
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdeeds committed within the said City.

Whereas by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City of
London (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the twenty eighth day
of July last Sarah< no role > the Wife of James Crawford< no role > and William< no role > her Son
aged one Year and Eight Months, for Nurtured were Removed from the parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldersgate London to the parish of Old Stratford upon
Avon in the County of Warwick as the place of their last legal Settlement
Now upon hearing the petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Old Stratford upon Avon (this day
exhibited (unto this Court) against the Warrant and Judgment of the said
two Justices in the presence and hearing of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of Saint Botolph without Aldersgate London and
having he and what could be alledged on either Side by the said Parties their Council and
Witnesses in and concerning the promisses It is thereupon Ordered
that the Warrant and Judgment of the said Two Justices be quashed vacated and
Set aside and that the said Appeal be allowed and the Same is hereby allowed
accordingly And it is hereby further ordered that the said Sarah Crawford< no role >
and her said Son William before with Sent back and deliver unto the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldersgate to be by them maintained and provided until they can free themselves
from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law And it is further Ordered that the
