about [..] which threw the deced.
down under the near Wheel of the said Cart which
passing over his Head instantly killed him: says that
after the Carman had whiped the Horse he stayed [..]
[..] behind conversing with a Woman and soon
afterwards turned upon the Bridget being the Footway under the Arch of St.
Magnus Church and overtook the Cart at about [..]
an hundred Yards from the place where the accident
happened.

Thomas Jarvis< no role > Carman Servant to and residing
with Joseph Mack< no role > of Bandileg Walk in the Parish of
St. Saviour Southwark Carman maketh Oath & saith
that on Saturday last the 21st. inst. between the Houre of 5
and 6 in the afternoon Dept. being at a Publick House
known by the Sign of Sr. John Falstaff in Lower Thames
Street near the Foot of London Bridge he saw a Cart
which Samuel Peachy< no role > otherwise Lark< no role > a Carman had
the Care of standing [..] opposite to the sd. House, and
the sd. Peachy otherwise Lark intending to drive the sd.
Cart home to the House of Richard Cleaver< no role > of Tooley Street
in the Parish of St. Olave Southwark in the County of Surry
Carman the Owner of the sd. Cart, and Fort the sd. Teachy otherwise
Lark whiped the Horse which draw the sd. Cart once only as Dept. believes in Order
to set off for [..] home, which caused the Horse to set off
very furiously, [..] witht. the Driver, and a Woman
instantly after whiping [..] the sd. Horse taking Peachy's Hat
off and runing away with it prevented Peachy from
following the Cart and the Cart turning very short atagt.the
Corner of St. Magnus Church the near Wheel thereof ran
agt. a Jack upon which the deced was which turning the Ass
round threw the deced under the Near Wheel of the sd. Cart
which passing over hisBodyHead violently crushed the
same and occasioned the death of the deced. Says to believe
the sd. Cart to be of the Value of £5 and the Horse to be of
the Value of £14.
