Bank of England maketh Oath and saith That at
the last Summer Assizes for the County of Kent
James Elliott< no role >
was Indicted and found guilty of
Forging a promissory Note for Payment of the Sum
of Fifty Pounds with intent to defraud the Governor
and Company of the Bank of England but Judgement
thereupon was Arrested for the Opinion of the
Judges And this Deponent further saith That
the said Thomas Probyn< no role >
stands charged with
Engraving the Plate from which the said Note
was printed and Aiding and Assisting in the
said Felony which was Compleated in the
County of Kent
And further saith he is advised
to prefer a Bill of Indictment against the said
Thomas Probyn< no role >
in the County of Kent
in Case
Judgment is given against the said James
