of the Parish ofSaint George in the East in the
County of Middlesex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Allhallow Barking in the City of
London, ThatAnn< no role > the Wife of Phillip Pilgrim< no role > (who is now
in the County Compter in this City conferred for Debts) and her
Four Children Vizt George< no role > aged five years and upwards
Harriot< no role > Aged Three Years and upwards Houghton< no role > Aged Eight
seen months and an Infant not yet Chrestned Aged three weeks
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
and legal Settlement there, andarelikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Ann Pilgrimas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidPhillip Pilgrim her Husband
to be in the said Parish of Saint George in the East in the
County of Middlesex
and that thithertotheyought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish ofsaintAllhallow Barking in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidAnn the Wife
of Phillip Pilgrim and her Four Children abovementioned
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish ofSaint
George in the East in the County of Middlesex
Andthemdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide forthemaccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this22d Day of April One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Six
