The Information of John French< no role > Watchman
living in Well's Yard St. Giles's taken before
me this 5th. day of January 1776

Who being upon Oath says that on the Sunday Morning on which
Henry Stubbings< no role > Servant to Mr. Pratt of Bloomsbury was murdered
in October last as this Informant was on his Stand in St. Andrew's
Street Seven Dials he saw a person running up Queen Street
and into St Andrew's Street. that the said Person was without
Hat or Wig and that it was a frosty Morning, says the
said Person stopt & Spoke to this Informant asking if he had
seen a Man run up that Street that this Informant said he
had not but that he must be a mad man to be running without
his Hat & Wig, says he has this day seen a person who calls
himself Robert Williams and that he verily believes the Said
Robert Williams to be the Man he Saw running without him
Hat and Wig as aforementioned
