The Order of William Nash< no role > Esqr and James Rosseter< no role > Esqr Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said City of London one whereof of the Quorum and both residing next the Limits of the Parish Church within the Parish
of Saint Bartholomew the less in the said City of London made the fifths day of September in the Year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy two concerning a female Bastard Child lately Born in the Parish
of Saint Bartholomew the less aforesaid of the Body of Hannah Littlewood< no role > Singlewoman

Whereas it hath appeared unto Us the said Justices as well upon the Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew as Upon the Oath of the said Hannah Littlewood< no role > that the said Hannah
Littlewood on the Tenth day of July last was delivered of a female Bastard Child in the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew
in the said City of London and that the said Female Bastard Child is chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew
and further that Samuel Timmings< no role > Servant to John Raine< no role > of Oxford Street in the Parish of Saint Saint Ann at
Westminster in the County of Middlesex did beget the said Bastard Child on the Body of her the said Hannah
Littlewood And whereas the said Samuel Timmings< no role > hath appeared before Us in pursuance of our Summens
for that purpose but hath not shewed any sufficient Cause why he the said Samuel Timmings< no role > shall not be
the reputed Father of the said Bastard Child We therefore upon Examination of the cause and Circumstance of
the Premises as well upon the Oath of the said Hannah Littlewood< no role > as otherwise do hereby Adjudge him the said Samuel
Timmings to be the reputed Father of the said Bastard Child

And thereupon we do Order as well for the better Relief of the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew
as for the Sustentation of the said Bastard Child that the said Samuel Timmings< no role > shall pay or Cause to be paid to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew for the time being or to some
or one of them the Sum of three Shillings and Sixpence Weekly and every Week from the day of the date of this our Order
for and towards the Keeping Sustentation and Maintenance of the said Bastard Child for and during so long
time as the said Bastard Child shall be Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew Given under
our Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written
