William Berkley< no role > Clerk to Charles Toothaker< no role > of the
Parish of Saint Sepulchre London (Attorney for the
Defendants in this Cause) Maketh Oath and Saith that
he this Deponent did on Friday the Seventh Day of this
Instant September, Deliver to, and Leave a True Copy
of the Notice of Motion hereto Annexed with the
Daughter of Mr. Topson (who as this Deponent is
Informed by the Defendants and Believes is
Attorney for the Prosecutrix of this Indictment)
at his House in Blewitts Buildings Fetter Lane
London who Promised to Deliver the Same to her
Father the said Mr. Topson, And this Deponent
further Saith that he did on Saturday the Eighth Day
of this Instant September about Ten in the Forenoon
Deliver to and Leave another True Copy of the said
Notice of Motion with the Man Servant of Mr.
Edward Smith< no role > in Foster Lane London to whom
this Deponent was also Informed by the said
Defendants and believes the said Prosecutrix now
is a very lately was Servant , not being able to Find
that she Lived Elsewhere.
