The Information of Elizabeth Phenix< no role >
taken before me this 8th. day of
April 1765

Who being upon Oath says that She hath Cohabited with John
Pickett
< no role > the Prisoner now present about seven Months about
the last two months of which time She hath lodged with said
Pickett in the House of Isabella Gorden< no role > also now present
in mouse Alley East Smithfield , says that about three [..]
weeks agoe the said Pickett and this Informant were greatly
distressed, having Pawned his Shirts and Buckles, and [..]
her Ring for want, where upon said Pickett said he wou'd go
to Sea for that he had no Money and that [..] in a few
days after this proposal said Pickett actually took his leave
of this Informant and said he was going on Board the Success
a Ship which was going up the Straits, and which Ship he said
was then in the River, and that he had helped to Rigg her
says She this Informant saw no more of him til monday the
25th. of March last when he came into Mrs. Gordens house
to this Informant about Noon and appeared very He [..]

[..] he drank Tea in Mrs. Gorden's own Room and in her
Presence that sd. Pickett said at that time that he was ody
He and cou'd not go out with the above Ship as he intended
that he staid with her about an hour only at that time and
went away saying he had business to do down in Wapping that
he did not return [..] about Eleven o'Clock the next day when he
gave her a Purse with upwards of the Fifty pounds in it saying
he had recd his Money that She this Informt. then got some
goods out of Pawn and he himself some others which
Mrs. Gorden fetched for him that after dark that Evening
said Pickett fetched his Chest but from whence She does
not know and that one John Thacker< no role > a Roper assisted him
up Stairs with it, that he staid but a little while and went out
again with his great Coat on and was gone about are hour
and returned with a [..] Bagg wrapt up in the Shirt of his Coat
which She saw contained [..] Dollars by a hole at one Corner
