Maketh Oath and Saith that he this Deponent
was Bound over to Prosecute the prisoner at this present Sessions
for Felony, and Accordingly preferred to the Grand Jury his
Bills of Indictment which was found a True Bill and he afterwards
attended the Court at the Old Bailey
on Wednesday the Twenty Sixth Day
of this Instant May to Prosecute the said Prisoner, where he
Attended near the Space of Four Hours and then Going out to get
some refreshment for about an Hour, in which times the prisoner
was Called on to be Tryed for the said Felony And this Deponent
wastohis Surprize Informed that the Prisoner was Discharged
by Proclamation by Means of this Deponents Absence And Lastly
this Deponent Saith that he Absolutely Intended and was Willing and
Desirous to have Prosecuted the said William Thorn< no role >
for the
[..] said Offence and that his Absence was Merely Casual and
Now [..] Designed by this Deponent, to Facilitate the Escape
or Discharge of the said Prisoner in any sort whatsoever
by him this Deponent
