Who being on Oath saith that about a Month [..] ago
this Informt: Robt: Crawley< no role >
and Terry Smith< no role >
went together into
New gate Street
And this Informt: broke a Square of Glass in a
Shop Window and Terry Smith took out a parcell of Handkerchiefs
And this Informt: took out of the sd: Shop window an other
parcell of Hankerchiefs the two parcells amounting to Nineteen
And the sd: Hankerchiefs were afterwards shared between
this Informt: Smith and Crawley And this Informt: Sold
a deep Blew flowered Hankerchief being one of the Hankerchiefs
so Stolen to Rose Eagan< no role >
for a Shilling and this Informt:
saith that he hath frequently sold the sd: Eagan Stolen
Goods the sd: Eagan then well know that this Informt: and
the sd: Smith & Crawley had no other means of Supporting
themselves but by pilfering as they usually Staid in
the Sd Eagans House in the day time and at night went
out a thieving the sd: Eagan frequently told this Informt:
that she would buy any thing of him particularly the
Sd Eagan bought a Pair of New Pumps which this Informt:
and others Stole out of a Shop in Newgate Street
and gave
this Informt. only one Shilling for them. And this Informt
further saith that about three Weeks agoe he and Mary
Mc. Quire< no role >
and Sarah Martin< no role >
Stole out of a Shop Window
a Large Quantity of Livery lace in Newgate Street
and the
same night the last mentioned Parties Stole out of a Shop
Window a Pair of Womens Pumps which Lace and Pumps
were Stopped upon being oftered to Sale by Mc.Guire & Martin
