The humble Petition of the Farmers and Lessees of Newgate Market in the Parish
of Saint Faith under Saint Paul's in the said City

Sheweth

That the said Farmers and Lessees being rated at the Sum of £4.12s.4d by the Month for
and towards the Relief and Maintenance of the Poor of the said Parish as and for the their Proportion
of the Rate made within the said Parish for the Purpose aforesaid Do hereby (with Summission to
this Honoble Court) apprehend that they are thereby aggrieved any over rated and pray that
Relief may be given according to Law

And your Petitioners will ever pray
