Thomas Francis< no role > of Lincolns Inn in the County
of Middlesex Assistant Sollicitor of his Majesties Treasury
maketh Oath That John Sharpe< no role > Esquire principal Sollicitor
of the said Treasury has received Directions from the Right
Honourable the Earl of Holderness One of his Majesties Secretaries
of State to Prosecute Patrick Babe< no role > and James OConner< no role > for
enlisting Men into the French Service And this Deponent saith
that it appears from Copies of Several Informacons transmitted
to the said Earl of Holdernesse by the Mayor of Dover, That the
said Facts of Enlisting for which the said Babe and O'Conner
are apprehended and committed and are to be prosecuted arise
at Dover in the County of Kent and not elsewhere

Sworn at Justice Hall in
the old Bailey the 19th. day
of January 1754 .
