The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin in
the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of the Right
Honble Thomas Winterbottom< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of the said City of London and
Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Esqr . two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City
and Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the Fourth day
of January 1752. Elizabeth Ethelstone< no role > Widow of John Ethelstone< no role > deced was
removed from the Parish of Saint Ann within Aldersgate London to the Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields aforesaid as the Place of her last legal Settlement
Whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves Aggreived and against the said Order
do Appeal.

Your Petitioners therefore most humbly Pray that a
Short Day may be appointed this present Session to hear
and determine the said Appeal
