Clerk might send the Commission and Proceedings there by his Clerks or to
that or the like purpose upon which Applications both the said Assignees
told this Depot he should Call on the Clerk of the Commission for what he
desired of them which this Depot. inform'd them he had done And then the
said Assignee Mr Unwin told this Depot he would acquaint his Brother
Unwin with the Depots. Demands who he beleiv'd would that Day dine
with him And this Depot. might call on his Brother for an Answer
and then the said Mr Unwin went away and the said 2 Mr Newton desir'd
this Depot. to repeat to him what he had before desired which this Depot
did whilst he took down his Demands to the Purposes abovementioned
in Writing in a Memorandum Book of his own and the said Mr Newton
then told this Depot. he was Bail for the said Comerlan and would do what
he could to assist the said Bankrupt or to that Effect And this Deponent
Saith That he then tendred five Guineas for the Charges of a Meeting of
the Comissioners for the Purpose abovementioned to the said Mr Newton
who refus'd to take the Money And this Depot further Saith That on Saturday
last he went to Mr Unwin the Clerk of the said Comicon and ask'd him whether
he had any orders from the sd Comerlan's Assignees about his This Deponents
having Copies of the aforesaid proceedings and his attending at the Old
Baily when the Said Mr Unwin refus'd such Copies and to attend at the
Old Baily and Said this Depot. need not come to him about those things
when this Depot. knew how to apply by Petition for what he wanted
And this Depot. further Saith That he hath presented a Petition to the
right honble the Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain Praying for a
meeting of the said Comissioners in the aforesaid Commission at the said
Wood's Expence to prove his Debt and that he may have Liberty to inspect &
take Copies of the said Commission & Proceedings & that the Clerk of the Comission
may attend the Grand Jury at the Old Baily & also the Sessions with the Same in order
to finding an Indictment against and Trying the Said Bankruft for the said
Felony but this Depot. is informed & beleives the said Petition will not be
answered till to Morrow Morning and that it will be for an Attendances
on the next day of Petitions which will not be till about three Weeks
hence And this Depot Saith That for the reasons aforesaid he hath not
been able to prepare an Indictment against the said Comerlan this
Session but verily beleives he shall be able to get an Indictment Prepar'd
& preferrd against [..] at the next Sessions of Oyer & Terminer for London
