The Information of James Jones< no role > taken on his
Voluntary Oath the twenty second Day of April
One thousand seven hundred and thirty seven
before Sir Richard Brocas< no role > Knight and, Alderman
of the City of London

Who on his Oath saith that about three Months
ago He in Company with John Barrett< no role > James
Johnson
< no role > James Cope< no role > and Peter Thompson< no role > Stole
a large Parcel of large Brass Nails off several
Coaches at several times in the Coach Yard of
Thomas Bouth< no role > in Half Moon Alley in Bishops
gate Street which Parcel of Nails this Informant
Sold to one Samuel Newton< no role > a Founder in the
Minories which said Parcel of Nails he the
said Samuel Newton< no role > well know that they were
Stoln as above said And that about a Week
afterwards He this Informant with the abovesaid
John Barrett< no role > James Johnson< no role > James Cope and
Peter Thompson< no role > Stole a large Parcel of large
Brass Nails off several Coaches at several
times in the Coach Yard of John Bouth< no role > at the
Catherine Wheel and George in Bishopsgate
Street And that he this Informant Sold them
to the said Samuel Newton< no role > who well knew
them to be Stoln as aforesaid And that about
fourteen Days afterwards this Informant with
the said John Barrett< no role > James Johnson< no role > James
Cope and Peter Thompson< no role > Stole a Parcel of
large Brass Nails off several Coaches in the
Yard of John Shirty< no role > in Dunnings Alley
BIshopsgate Street and that this Informant
Sold them to the said Samuel Newton< no role > who well
know them to be Stoln as aforesaid And that
soon afterwards this Informant with the said
John Barrett< no role > James Johnson< no role > James Cope< no role >

Brass Nails off several Coaches in a Coach yard
