Knt Lord Mayor of the City of London , to the
Worshipfull the rest of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the Said City & Liberties thereof in
their Generall Quarter Sessions assembled.

The humble Petition & Appeale of
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Colechurch
in the City of London

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the hands & Seales of your Lordship & Sir Richard Hopkins< no role >
Kub and Alderman Two of His Majtys Justices of the
Peace for the City of London & the Liberties thereof (one
being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Second Day of
July instant Sarah Tipping< no role > Widow of Robert Tipping< no role > &
her four Children (to wit) Mary< no role > aged ten Years, Michael< no role >
aged about Six Years Elizabeth< no role > aged about four Years &
Sarah< no role > aged about twelve Months, were removed from
the parish of St Olave in the Old Jury London unto the
Said Parish of St. Mary Colechurch London, alledging ye.
Said Parish of St. Mary Colechurch to be the Place of
their last legall Settlement.

That yor. Petrs. conceiving themselves agrieved
by the Said Warrant or Order Do appeale to yor. Lordship
& Worships therefrom, And humbly pray that yor Lordship
and Worships will be pleased to hear them in the prmes
and order that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the Sd. Parish of St. Olave in the Old Jury London, may
appear before you to hear & abide the Judgment and
Determination of yor Lordship & Worships touching this
Appeale.

And yor. Petitioners Shall pray Etc
