Cornelius Drew< no role > Junr . and Thomas Bernard< no role > of London Gentr. Severally
make Oath as followeth And first the Said Correlius Drew< no role > Innt . deposeth
and Saith, That he was Present and did See Travell Peeke< no role > , by the Name and
Addition of Favell Peeke< no role > of the Parish of Clarendon in the Island of
Jamaica in America Esqr . but now residing in the Parish of Saint Annes
Westminster in the County of Middlesex within the Kingdom of Great Britain
Sign Seal Publish and Declar the Paper Writing now Exhibited unto him
this Deponent whole, undefaced and uncancelled, bearing date the
Eighteenth day of November Last, as and for his Last Will and Testament,
And this Deponent Further Saith, That as a Witness to the Signing, Sealing
Publishing and Declaring the Said Paper Writing, contained in Six
Sheets of Paper by the Said Testator, as and for his Last Will & Testament
he this Deponent did thereunto Subscribe his Name in the Presence of
the Said Testator and also in the Presence of the other Witnesses thereto, as
by the Same it doth and may Appear, And the Said Thomas Bernard< no role >
deposeth and Saith, That he was Present and did See Edward Cradock< no role >
set the Name of the Said Tavell Peek, and also hisSealto a Paper
Writing, upon the [..] day of [..]
the Express Directions of him the Said Tavell [..] that the Said
Paper Writing was Signed Sealed Published and De [..] ed by the Said
Edward Cradock< no role > , by the Directions of the Said Tavell Peeke, as a
Codicil to the Said Tavell Peeke's Last Will, in the Presence and hearing
of the Said Tavell Peeke, and of him this Deponent and other Subscribing
Witnesses thereto; And this deponent Thomas Bernard< no role > Further Saith,
That the Copy now Exhibited unto him, Signed Wm. Legard Deputy
Register Assumed, is a true Copy of the Said Paper Writing or Codicil to
which he is a Witness, now remaining in the Prerogative. Court of Canterbury
he this Deponent having carfully Examined the Said Copy with the
said Original, and found the Same therewith exactly to Agree
