The Examination of William Higginton< no role > of No: y in
Nixsons Squar Jewin Street London Taken this day
before Me Sr. Wm Billers< no role > , Knight & Alderman of
the City of London & One of his Majestys Justices
of the peace in &for the sd. City Etc

William Higginson< no role > this Examinant then Oath
Saith that on or about the fifth day of July last past
this Deponant was Sent for down Staires by his Mastr.
David Colgan< no role > Who told this Deponant that Elianor
Wheatley who then Lodged in the house of the sd David
Colgan was Made & that he this Depon ,ist Apict
him & his wife in Binding her with Cordes in he [..] bed
& this Deponant did Accordingly Apict them the sd
David Colgan< no role > & Sarah< no role > his wife in binding her the
said Elianor Wheatley< no role > in her bed with Cords as is
aforesaid And this Deponant further Saith that he
Doth not know that the said Eleanor Wheatley< no role > was
Mad or Shew'd any Signes of Madness Untill they
the said David Colgan & Sarah his wife began to
Bind her with Cordes And that then & not before
the sd. Elianor Wheatley< no role > began to Cryout very
Much And this Deponant further upon Oath
Saith that She remained bound as aforesd by the
Space of twenty hours or there about that & then She
Seem'd to be perfectly Rational & further this
Deponant Saith he knows not
