The Humble Peticon & Appeall of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Alhallows Staining London

Sheweth

That by an order under the hands [..] & Seals of two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said City &
Libertys (Quor unus) Bearing date the Third day
of February last Martha Phillips< no role > Widdow of Jacob
Phillips< no role > Deced was lately removed from the parish
of St. Giles's without Cripplegate London to the said
parish of alhallows Staining London as the place
of her last Legall Settlement

Your Petitioners thinking themselves
Aggreived by the Judgement of the said
two Justices of the peace Appeall to
your Lordshipp & Worships against the
said order & humbly desire this Court
will make such order therein as to
your Lordship & Worships shall seem meet

And your Peticoners shall ever pray et.
