For that the Said Martha by two Several Exaiacons
taken before St.
Wm. Billers< no role >
Possitive by Swears
that the Appellt: has Carnall Knowledge of
her Body in Febry 1728 & that be was the
Sole Father of the said Child Whereas it
Plainly appears that the Said Female Bastard
Child was not born till the 13th: of Janry last
wch. is abt Eleven Months Therefore he appaellt
humbly Insists that he Cannot be that Putatue
Father
thereof and for that reason appeales

For that by the said adjudicacon the Appellant
in order to pay to the said Church Warden and
Overseers
of the Said Parish £7:19s:10d for the
said parishes Expences, only from the 13th. of
Janry to ye 23th: of Febry following, over and,
above 2:6 & week, so long the said Female
Bastard Child Should remain Chargeable
to the said Parish, which the Appellant
humbly Conceives to be a very great ever charge
upon him And therefore appeales agts the same
