This Examinant on his Oath Saith that on or about the
first of this Instant June he was in Company (with one
Stephen Baylis< no role > apprentice to out Mrs Sarah Holt< no role > in St. James
[..] in Com Middx widdow ) & that they did stopp one
Gentleman in the Walk that goes up to Pancrass Church
& tooke from him in Copper four pence ½ penny &
that in Company with the Stephen Balis abt a month
agoe they tooke a silk scarfe from of a Gentlewoman
Shoulder in pardge Pott Alley in Aldersgate street of
the Value 10s:6d & that on with Sunday last he was in
Company (with and John Lemon< no role > of Gravell Lane Spittle
Feilds a Smith) & they robbed two Gentlemen near the
Redd Lyon behind Hoggsdon Almshouses about 11 a Clock
in the Evening of 9 shillings in money and further
this Examinant Saith that he is noe ways guilty of
the fact of sedeing [..] with which he is now charged
with
