The Examinacon & Confession of James White< no role > taken
before me Sr Francis Forbes< no role > Knt & Aldran & one of
his Maties Justices of ye peace for ye City of London

This Examt Confesseth & Saith That [..] he has been Acquainted
about three Weeks with one Georgea North Country
man that wears a long blew Coate & Pee Jacket with black
open Cuffs & lodged with him at the hand & Tyestaff a Bailiffs
house in Toolys Street & has been with him on the keys &
Stole Several parcels of Tobacco and on the 7th Instant this
Examt & the sd George Went to Bear Key & there cut open
an Hogshead & Stole the £40 weight of Tobacco now
produced, that this Examt lent ye. sd. George a knife with which
he out open ye Hogshead, And this Examt further says that he was
present with Willm Langley< no role > Nick named Carrotts (now to be Transported)
abt the 30th of Novbr last on Brewhouse Key when the Cut open a
Hogshead & Stole out a quality of Tobacco & then this Ext excaped and
further says that the Goods Stolen by this Ext he Sold to one Richd
Pollard
< no role > a Common receiver of Stolen Goods, he lives in Houndsditch
