The Examination of William Gosling< no role > taken before
Mr. Thomas Macro< no role > one of his Matyes Justices of the peace
for this County this twelfth of June 1721

This Examinant sayes he was footman and buttler
to Mr Marke Winn< no role > Mrrcht in Devonshir Squar as
London, and lived wth him more then halfe a year
and that his master having given him Warning to
gor away one this day three weekes about five of
the clock in the morning this Examinant in sent to
mi [..] dle a fire in his old masters chamber and took
off of his table one Silver Watch and out of the table
drawer one pre of pearle silke stock as, and off the Dask
table fourteen Guinies and two Broad peicy wth lay
Covered under some paper and then going downe Saith
he pack't up in his Livery Cloaths, the following picees of
plate wch was delievered to his charge by his Master
to be kept as butter and wch [..] lock up in the
Bofett in the parlock Vizt nine Silver spoons marke
wth two letters Three Silver lasters wch Coate of Armes
Two Silver salt wch he beleives had two betters upon them One
Silver perringer wth letters upon it one Pre Candlesticks
of Silver wch Snuffer and Snuff disk wch Coates of Armes
together wth a Pair of silver spoons a paire of silver buckells
a silver tooth pick case one Gold ring, a Sett off ever and
silke butters wch he tooke out of his Masters chamber before
became downe, all there things this Examinant was Dent
of his masters [..] and went down to the Thomas side and
tooke boat and went to the town of Grayes in Essex, and
stayed there about three days where he bought a little block
more about four pounds wth a wisk taile pray of fifty
Shilling of one Goodman or Goodwin at the Blewancker
and leaveing Grayes he came to the some of Hartest on last whit
Sun monday to the Sign of the Crowne, and together that night
