This Examinant an Oath Saith, yt ye 23th of November last past, he wth one Purkiss
& Thos Robinson< no role > , went to ye Cork & bottle, near Charing Cross [..]
where was produced a Lett by Mr Purkiss from one Pagett at Brown, [..]
France which sd Lettr he game to ye sd Heny Mills, & Purkiss told Mills ye sd Shield &
Cox were ye men he had pitchd upon & yt there ye sd Mills understood the sd
Shield & Cox were Weavers , & he promised to pay [..] their Passage to Fanker [..]
in France, they then came away yt on ye Thirtieth of Number they saw his sat yt
Hall at Charing Cross , & yt then he advised them to make no provision for themselves
for he would provide for them, for ye Captain was to have a Guinea a [..] fr
their passage, & one Stall a day for their provision & this [..] Examinant Saith
on Satterday last he with the Robinson Richd Knott< no role > , Cornelius Cox< no role > & Thos Gaytan< no role >
were going to ye Kings arms Coffee huse near ye Custom huse, in order to go
on board yt he & his aforesaid Companies mett his ye sd Mills in ye Street as they were
going to ye Sd Coffee huse to [..] when they night go [..] board & it [..]
agreed they should go aboard them, yt ye sd Mills called a boat & they went
aboard ye Ship called ye Ann, for [..] Roan in France John Mannucea
Master, yt when they were abord ye Mate told ye they might go & fetch their
bundles & le an board again at Six a Clock yt night, yt when they came
on Shore & had gotten their budles & were at ye Fyger near Tower dock
were ye sd. Mills was [..] he was served by a Warrt for J Fryr
