Majties. Justices of this peace of the said County of Middx
the 29th. day of September 1715
Who upon Oath Saith that the 20th. day of August last as
he was goeing between the Tower
and Feinchurch Street
he left two Exchequer Notes out of his wall coat pockett
of one hundred pounds each the one of the No.12514
the other of 12519 which he verily beleives were picked
out of his pockett And the said Informant further saith
that one of the said Notes that No.12514 being Next at
the Bank it was traced from person to person untill it
was at layd found to be in the hands of one who calls
himself Michaell Bartlow< no role >
who alsoe confessed he had
it in his hands and paid it away to a woman in Gagg
fair

Who being examined confesseth that he had one of the
Exchequer Notes who the said Henry Neal< no role >
saith he lost
And that he had it of one John Clark< no role >
who he mett in the
Streets by change and paid it him in part of a bound of
one hundred and twenty six pounds which he owed him
key is Seaven years agoe
