To the Right Honrble St. Samuel Stainer< no role > Knt Lord Major
of the City of London and to the Right Worpll the Rest
of her Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said city in
the general quarter Sessions assembled

The humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Martin Ironmonger lane
London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seals of two of
her majesties Justices of the peace within this [..] one being of the
Quorn) bearing Date the Fourth Day of February last past One
Judith Davis< no role > with her two Children Hanna< no role > and Susanna< no role > were
Sent and delivered to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore
of the said parish of St Martin Iron monger Lane London alleadging
the said parish to be the place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners doubt not but to prove that the said
Judith Davis< no role > never had any legal settlement in the said
Parish whereby they conceive themselves aggreived by
the said Warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices
and do humbly appeale to your Honr and Worpps
therefrom

Your Petitionr: therefore most humbly pray
your Honr and Worpps will be pleased to hear
them in the prmisses and that the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St
Stephen Wallbrooke London do appeare before
you and hear and abide the Determination of
your Honr and Worpps touching this Appeale

And your Petitionr. Shall ever Pray Etc.
