The Informacon of Mary Benger< no role > wife of Abraham Benger< no role > of
Honey Lane Market London Hall in Glazier taken upon Oath before me
John Steuart< no role > Esqr . one of her Maties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middx this 30th: Day of April Ano Dui 1713o.

The said Mary Benger deposeth That on Wednesday the nine & twentyeth
day of April instant between Twelve & one of the Clock at noone a certaine
woman called Elizabeth Cambell< no role > came to the Shop of this Informts said
husband in Honey Lane Market aforesaid to drink a drum of Clove water,
and that the this Informt. whilst drawing the said water stood with her back
to a parcell of Callicoes and the said Elizabeth Cambell standing by the
said Callicoes at the same time; and the said Elizabeth Cambell< no role > having a
Riding hood on, and giving many in an aprupt manner, gave this Informant a suspicon
of her, & thereupon this Informant told one the said Callicoes imediately and
found Two peices missing, there being but seven & Forty, whereas she told them
over but about a quarter of an hour before the said Elizabeth Cambell< no role > came
into the said Shop & found the full number thereof there being nine & Forty
And this Informt. deposeth that from the time she first told the said
Callicoes before the sd Elizabeth Cambell< no role > came there to the time she told them
after she was gone as aforesaid no person was in the said Shop but the
said Cambell excepting this Informt. herself, and therefore this
Informt. deposeth that she doth very strongly suspect and beleive the
said Cambell did privately steale two peices of the said Callicoes.
