Complaint being this day made unto Us whose
Hands and Seales are hereunto Set Two of her
Majesties Justices of the peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof (quor unus) by you the Churchwarns.
and Overseers for the poore of the parish of St. Alphage
in London, that one Jane Bass< no role > hath been for
these Severall Yeares in your Said parish without
gaineing any Legall Settlement and is now
likely to become chargeable there to unless
timely prvented, And for as much as it appeareth
unto Us the Said Justices upon the Oath of the
said Jane Bass that her Husband William
Bass
< no role > Serv'd as an Apprentice for the full terme
of Seven Yeares with one Thomas Dobson< no role > a
Farrier in the Parish of St Gregory's by St.
Pauls London and that Since that time Hee
the said [..] William Bass< no role > her said Husband hath
gained noe Legall Settlemt. in any other place
Wee doe therefore adjudge the said Parish of
St Gregory's London by the Last Legall Settlemt.
of the said [..] William Bass< no role > and where the said
Jane [..] Bass his Said Wife ought to be sent
and provided for

These are therefore in her Majesty's Name to require
you the sd Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore
of the said parish of St. Alphage London forthwith
upon Sight hereof to Convey and passaway from
and out of yor said Parish the said Jane [..] Bass< no role >
to the parish of St. Gregory's by St Pauls London
delivering her He the Churchwardens and Overseers
there who are hereby required to find and pvide
for According to Law Hereof faile not and for
Soe doeing this shall be yor Warrt Given under
Our Hands & Seales this Nineteenth day of
August Anno Dui 1712

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the respective parishes of St. Alphage and
