wife of John Adams< no role > Citizen and Joyner
of London taken upon her Oath before
me as followeth Vizt

The said Elizabeth Adams< no role > being duely Sworn saith that her
said husband hath been absent from this Examinant and that
she hath not had any Conversation with him nor seen him for
the Space of four years last past And this Examinant saith
that since her said husbands Departure from her she this Examinant
hath had Severall Children by one John Merston< no role > of Mark Lane
London Bricklayer who hath all along till about two months
agoe taken Care to maintaine them and this Examinant
further saith that she is now quick with Child and that
the said John Moreton< no role > is the Father thereof and that no
body since this Examinant's husband's departure from
her ever had the Carnall knowledge of this Examinant's
body Except the said John Moreton< no role >
