said City Spinster taken upon Oath this 1st. day of February 1709

This Informt. deposeth That about Four months since abt. Seven or Eight
of the Clocke in the Evening she saw Thomas Dennis< no role > carrying a [..]
large leather trunke downe Holbourne wch. he rested at a in Shop near
Grays Inne lane and afterwards tooke up the said trunke and carryed
the same into Grayes Inne lane And this Infound. deposeth that imediately
afterwards Capt Mathew Lafite< no role > Enquired of this Informt. whether she saw
and Such trunke (wch. he then alledged to be stolene from him) and this
Informt. thereupon directed th said Capt. Lafile wch. way the said Dennis
went therewth.
