Whereas complaint hath been made unto as whose hands and Seales are
hereunto set two of her Majesties Justices of the Peace for the Citty of
London (Quorum Unus) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate London that Elizabeth
Barnes< no role > Singlewoman is come into the said Parish endeavouring to gaine a Settlement
there and is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish And for
asmuch as hath is made before (as by the said Elizabeth Barnes< no role >
that her last legall Setlement was in the Parish of St. Giles without
Criplegate in the County of Midlesex where she lived with her Father
John Barnes< no role > Sometime in Oldstreet Square and afterwardes in Standford
Buildings in Hatfeild Streete in the Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate
in the County of Midlesex untill the time of her said Father Death, &
Wee do not fine that she hath since gained any other legall setlement
There are therefore in her Majesties Name to (Will and Require you the
Officers of the Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate in London Some
or One of you to take passe and combey the said Elizabeth Barnes< no role >
to the Parish of St. Giles without Criplegate in the County of Midlesex
there deliver Her to the Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poore of the
same Parish or One of Them (who are hereby likewise in Her
Majesties Name required to receive and provide for Her according to
said and hereof you nor any of you are to faile given under our
handes & Seales this Third day of January Seventeene hundred and
Seaven
