the Fields
in the County of Middx.
Sheweth.
That by an order dated the 29th. day of November last, under the
hands and Seales of Sr. Salachell Lovell and Sr

removed from the parish of St. Giles Cripplegate
London, to the parish of
St. Martin in the Fields
aforesd. alledging, Oath had been made, by Abigall
Wherrett and
Isabel Gaskin< no role >
that the said
John Apthorpe< no role >
was legally Setled
an Inhabitant & house keeper in the Parish of St. Martins in the Fields
in
Church Lane
& followed the Trade of a Cook
& was lately run away from his
said wife & Children.
That yor. petr. hope to prove that the sd. John Apthorpe< no role >
never had
any legall Settlement in the said Parish of St. Martins in the Fields
;
wherefore conceiveing themselves agreived by the Judgement of the sd two Justices
doe humbly Appeal to this Court therefrom.
Yor. petrs. therefore humbly pray that this Court will be pleased
to ordr. that the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor
of the parish
of St. Giles Cripplegate
London
may attend this Court forthwith to
heare & abide the Judgemt. & determinacon thereof touching this
Appeale;
