maketh oath that he this depont. hath made diligent.
inquiry for the deft. at the said defts lodgeings where
the deft last lay in Fanchurch Street

other places where ye said deft. did use to frequent, where
this depont. was told yt. the said deft was gone to his
Fathers house in yorke Shire, And this depont. further maketh
oath that ye said Mr Thornborrow hath made very Strict
inquiry for ye said deft. & used all imaginable care to produce
ye said deft. Sutcliffe
at this present Sessions, And this depont.
verily beleives ye said Thornborrow will be able to produce
& render ye said deft. at or before ye next Sessions to be held
