Who Saith that on or about the 14h day of Aprill last (as he
thinkes) being Satturday 3 weekes since, we went to the
signe of the Sallmon & Ball
in Longe Ally
nere Moore fields
in the Pairsh of St. Leonard Shoreditch
where

lodged and desired the said Whittingham to lay
up for him fifty three pounds tenn shillings in a White
lymen Bagg Untill he this examinant
callshowed call on him the said
Whittingham forthe same Which this Examinant saith he
did call on him for

of the same day And the said Whittingham then told
him this examinant that he was robbed of the said mony in this maner
(to say) that Wm. Cadogan &

broke open the Chest of Drawer & tooke there
out and caried away the

Cadogan Smith & Mandrell Prtending to

[..] Who Inhabit the said house then came to presse a
Drumer And this Examinant further saith that on or about the
30th. day of Aprill last he procured a Warrant to aprehend
the aforesaid

Whittingham in Maner aforesaid who this Examint caused
to be aprehended & caried before a Justice of the Peace
who after examinacon of this examinant & the said
Whittingham on Oath comitted the said

Newgate And further saith the said Cadogan did before the
said Justice & in the heare
[..] of severall other Persons say Hee the said Cadogan did never do this Exam
untill Hee the said Cadogan was aprehended aforesaid
