The Informacon of Thomas Hawley< no role > Gentleman Porter
of the Tower of London & of Obadiah Reignolds< no role >
Gent taken upon Oath before Sr . William Gregory< no role >
Knt. one of the Justices of theire Majestyes Course
of Kings Bench the 18th. day of November 1690.

These Informants doe Severally say on theire respective
Oathe that Livetent . Collonll . Phillip Ricant< no role > was by
vertue of A Warrt. under the hands of Severall of
the Lords of their Majesties most Honoble. Privy
Councell directed to the Rt. Honoble. the Lord Lucas
Governour of the Tower of London committed A
Prisoner into the Said Lord Lucas for High Treason
in Leavying Warr agt. their Majestyes & adhering to
their Enemies, And these Informts. doe farther say
That Livetent. Collonll. Phillip Ricant was by the Said
Lord Lucas or two Order committed to the Charge &
Custody of Robert Jones< no role > One of the Yeomen Warders
of the said Tower, And that in Order to the Safe Custody
of the said Prisonr. he was Lodged in the said Robert
Jones< no role > his house within the said Tower (It being the
usuall course of the said Tower to Lodge Prisonrs in
the Warden house there) And these Informants doe
further say on their Oathe That uppon Thursday lost
being the thirteenth day of this Instant November
about five of the Clock in the Evening the Said Robert
Jones< no role > [..] Suffered the said Lietenant Collonll. Phillip
Ricant to Escape out of his house, by meanes whereof
he gott out of the Tower, But these Informts. doe
further say on their Oathe That they doe not know
whither the Said Robert Jones< no role > Suffered the Said
Prisonr. to Escpe voluntarily or not, And these Informt
doe further say that they doe not know that the said
Prisonr. is as yett retaken
