Who upon their several Oath say & first the sd. Benjn.
Bunce< no role >
for himself saith that on the Tenth Day of October last
he missed a Copper Porridge Pott< no role >
& a pick Axe out of a Wash
House adjoining to his Dwelling House the Lock belonging to
such Wash House Door appearing to be spoiled by the Work
being spoiled by a false or Pick lock Key that on Monday
the 12th. of October he went to Brentford
to the House of James

& upon inquiring there found the pick Axe now produced
which is his Property that he then immediately from thence
to the House of Richard Richardson< no role >
in Brentford
aforesd.
& upon inquiring there found the Copper Porridge Pott
now also produced which is his Property

for himself saith that on or about
the 10th. of October last about Noon Thomas Toppin< no role >
the
Prisoner at the Barr brought a pick Axe to his Shop Door
& asked him if he wod. buy it (& he had a Porridge Pott
likewise with him) the sd. James Lover< no role >
looked at the
pick Axe & observed it was marked & then asked the
Prisoner if it was his own Property to wch. he replyed
Yes the sd. James Lover< no role >
then agred to give him one
Shilling & six pence for such pick Axe & as soon as he
received the Money he went away

for himself saith that on or about
the Month of October a Man brought a Copper Porridge Pott
to offer for sale for which he bought at the Price of
