Oath the 24th. Day of November 1789

Who upon his Oath saith that on Friday the 20th.
Day of November Instant betwixt the Hours of eight & nine
oclock in the Evening he saw the Prisoner Edward Gardiner< no role >
with a small Parcell under his Coat coming out of a Shop in
Broad Street St. Giles's and he appearing to be a suspicions
Person apprehended him and upon searching under his
Coat on his left Side fond the Peice of Nankeen now
produced
