The Information of Robert Best< no role > of White Lyon Street in
the Liberty of Norton falgate in the said County Laborer Richard
Castle< no role > of this Hamlet of Mile End Old Town in the said County Broker
Taken upon Oath Before me Robert Smith< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County this Eighth day of December
1789.

And first the said Robert Best< no role > for himself Saith on Thursday last between
twelve and two o'Clock in the afternoon Prisoner (who says his Name is William
Cramp< no role > came in to the Waite Lyon Yard White Lyon Street and said he was out of
Employ that he desired him to hold a Switch upon a hores till he this Deponent
Trimed him which he did that as soon as he had Trimed the House he went
to Dinner leaving Prisoner in the Yard that when he came from Dinner
Prisoner was gone, that in the Course of two or three days prior to Thursday last
this Deponent had seen the two Bridles produced hanging his Master Stables that
they are his Masters (Thomas Hunt< no role > ) Property and are ofthe value ofthe value of
Ten Shillings and Six pence.

Richard Castle< no role > says on Friday last Between Seven and Eight o'Clock
in the Morning Prisoners came to him and asked him if he Bought Bridlesthat
this Deponent said Yes at times Prisoner opened Bay and pulled out three
Brides and a pair of Boots two of which said Bridles are the same us are now
Produced Prisoner said the Boots were his own he should not sell then Deponent
asked him what he asked for theBridthree Bridles Prisoner said Twelve
Shillings Deponent said they was very Cheap and said he would take him
to a Broker that would give him a Better price then he could offerd And Accordingly
took him an Offices and had him taken into Custody Suspecting they were Stoley.
