in the said County of Middlesex
Gentleman
taken before me this 4th day of November 1789.
Who being upon Oath says that on Wednesday The 21st day
of October last between the Hours of five and Six o'Clock in the Afternoon
He was attacked about Two hundred Yards from Twickenham
in
Whit an Lane by Two Footpad each Armed with a Pistol who
robbed him of Two Guineas a Six pence and some Half pence
and also a Silk Handkerchief That having received intelligence
that two Footpads had lately been Secured in Kingston Gaol
he
went thither and saw two persons who called themselves

whom he immediatly
Recollected to be the persons who had robbed him as aforesaid
An that the Handkerchief of which he was robbed he found
upon the Person of the said John Fletcher< no role >
at the time he saw
them in Kingston Gaol
aforesaid.
