Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Thomas Gore< no role >
. for himself says that on Wednesday morning last he
left the Silver Shoe buckles now produced belonging to his Master
on a box opposite the door of his Master Chambers in Brick Court
Middle Temple
and went into his Masters Chambers with a pair
of Shoes and books and upon his return in about half an hour he
Missed said buckles that he afterwards Questioned the Prisoner
now presentElizabeth Timens now present whether she had seen
said buckles who denied having seen them but added that she
supposed a Jew woman whom she had seen counting Phials on the
Steps had taken then and the said James Collins< no role >
for himself
says that on Wednesday last between One and two o Clock a Man
whom he beleives to be the prisoner Thomas Becket< no role >
now present
accompanied by the said Elizabeth Timms< no role >
came into his Shop when
said Man presented the said Silver buckles now produced and asked
Informant if he would buy them Informant asked him what he
would have for them when said Thomas Beckett< no role >
replied One Guinea
Informant told him they would not suit hm that said Thomas
Beckett< no role >
then asked him if hesaidwouldhegive Sixteen Shillings Informant
Replied that he would give Fourteen Shillings which said Thomas
Beekettagreedtook that Informant asked said Thomas Becket< no role >
if they were his own buckles who replied they were And the
said Richard Dozell< no role >
for himself says that he is very sure that the
said Thomas Beckett< no role >
is the Man who brought the said Silver
