Middlesex to Wit


The Information of Richard Howarth< no role >
Soldier in Colonel Steven's Courpenny in the
first Regiment of Foot Guards taken before
one this 26th.day of December 1787

Who being upon Oath saith on Saturday night
last about 10 o Clock he found George Green< no role > now
present at the [..] ince William Henry< no role > at Cheering
Cross very drunk, his Shirt rent & appeared to
have been fighting. That they called at the Lodging
of Benjamin Parsons< no role > now present at St. Anns Street
who refused to give Green admittance. That
Informant took said Green home to this Informants
Lodgings at which time he wore a Brown Great
Coat belonging/as he believes/to James Francis< no role >
now present. That before said Green went to Bed
he pulled out 11s..6d in Silver & put it on the Table
That between 5 & 6 the following Morning said Parsons
and Francis came to this Informants Lodgings when
he remembers Francis in reply to Something that Green
had Said "You deserve to have been killed". That Said
Green, and Francis then changed Coats. That said Green

< no role > , Parsons, and this Informant then went out &
drank at several Public Houses & from thence went
to Parson's Lodgings where said Green produced a Watch
Chain & Seal resembling those now produced by Charles
[..] Jealous
