John Flather< no role > of Ratcliff Highway St. George Middx
Broker on his Oath saith The Books produced are
his property and were this Day hung at his Door
for sale of the Value of four Shillings George Bishop< no role > living next door to the said
John Fletcher< no role > on his Oath saith this Evening about
the hour of Six Mary Jones< no role > servant to the said
John Fletcher< no role > called out a Man had Stolen a
pair of Boots And had gone away with them says
he pursued the said man who is present and says
his Name is Thomas Blake< no role > and apprehended
him in Ship Alley with the said Boots in his
Possession

Before me John Staples< no role >

Thomas Blake< no role > says he this Evening came to the
Door of John Flather< no role > where was a Man who he
knows by sight having the said Boots in his hand
and asked him if that he would but the same
that her refused buying themsays said Man [..]
whose name he doth not know or where he lives
gave him the said Boots and desired him
to follow him somewhere were he cannot
till and as soon as he [..] was Stopt said Man
run away
