The Examination of John Coleman< no role > who
Stands Charged on Suspicion of having committed
a Robbery taken before us John Staples< no role > Saml
Hawkins
< no role > and William Quarrill< no role > Esqrs three of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in and for
the said County

Who Saith that on the 26th. day of December
last he was in Company of John Walker< no role > and
John Evans< no role > at the City of Norwick in Went worth
Street between the Hours of Six and Seven in
the Evening that they went from there in
few Minutes and agreed to take aWalk
That they all three walked together until they
came into Broad Street where they saw
a Man behind a Coach Disputing with the
Coachmanfurther Saith that the Coachman
got from off his Box and pulled the
nowmandownthat Walker said
he would go and see the man home
that Walker and the Man went into
Moorfield and this Examant and
Evans followed themThatabout
forty Yards behind thatthey sawhe
this Examinant saw Walker push the
Man in the Quarter, opposite to
Bethlem Gates that he then left him
and called to this Examinant & Evans
to come along with him and said the
man knows his Way by himself let
him go that they all three went together
tell they Came into Petticoat Lane
into the Sign of the Blue Anchor where
