16th Day of February 1787

And first Isaac Lazarus< no role > for Himself on Oath says
that He is a Dealer in Cloaths that this Morning about
Twelve o Clock being at the House of Elias Glare< no role > the Sign of
the Rising Sun in Charles Street St Margarets Westminster
examining some Cloaths he had bought amongst which
was a Gold Laced Hatt which He sent into a Bay that while
He turned his Back to by on a fair of Boats He missed
the said Hatt taken out off he said Bag that amongst
several Person drinking in the said House He saw the
Prisoner John Trueman< no role >

Elizabeth Glare< no role > for Herself on Oath says that
Her Husband keep the Sign of the Rising Sun aforesaid
that She has known the Informant Isaac Lazarus< no role > many
Years that this Morning about Eleven o Clock He came into
her House and took some Cloaths out of a Bagg and
likewise a Gold Laced Hatt which He again put into the
said Bagg and this Informant further says that no Person
went out of the Room but the Prisoner John Trueman< no role >
who returned in about ten Minutes

Elizabeth Glayre< no role >

Thomas Morgan< no role > for Himself says that He was
at the House of Mr Glare aforesaid this Morning about
Eleven o Clock where He saw the aforesaid Isaac Lazanut
measuring a pair of Boots in which time He saw the sd.
Prisoner at a Bag the property of the said Isaac Lazarus< no role >
and immediately after go out of the Tap Room
