the 7th day of February 1787
before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County of
Middlesex
Who on his Oath saith that on Saturday night the Eleventh
of November he the said John Macdonald< no role >
being in Palace Yard
Westminster
standing on the Wheel of a Coach to [..] get out of
the way of the people Comeing from the princes Amelia's buring
three men took hold of this Informant and pulled him of the
wheel and give him a blow in the Mouth and took his hat from
of his head and Jame'd him up against the Coach and Rifled
his pockets and he then felt in his pockets and found his
Pocket book gone Informant then followed them they turned on
him and the Prisoner

Damed his Eyes and said if the followed them any further he
would knock him Down Informant then asked three men to
Assist him to take them men for they had Robbed him and then
they all three run away and Informant Called stop theif and
one was taken and the other two got away and the Prisioner
