The Information of James Olef< no role > and Jane
Collins
< no role > taken on Oath the 2d. day of February
1787 before me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex

This Informant James Olef< no role > Saith That he is a Farmer at
Kingsland read in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch and
that on Wednesday night last between the hours of Ten
and four O'Clock there was Feloniously stolen from
out of a Waggon standing in his yard at Kingsland
Aforesaid Eight Trusses of Hay his property and that
four Trusses of hay now produced by John Armstrong< no role >
a Headborough is the property of this Deponent and
the same that was stolen from him [..] as aforesaid

This Deponent Jane Collins< no role > Saith That in the night
of the Thirty first day of January last some person knocked
at the Window shutter of her Dwelling house at Haggersted
in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch upon which
she got out her bed and opened the door and there saw
George Humphrys< no role > and Easau Clements< no role > the Persons
now under Examination, and them said Mrs. we have got
some hay, she asked them where they got it and they
told him they had found it in the read, they than brought
into the house four Trusses of Hay and then went
away and this Deponent then went to bed again,
about half an Hour after that she heard a noise
in the Entry, on which she then got up again, and
there saw the said Two Prisoners with two more
Trusses of Hay, on which she again went to her bed
and left them and the Hay together
