Says On Friday Morning Last between the Hours of Four and Five he

out Watch to no purpose. That he saw as Man coming along who he asked if his Windows
were fast who answered One was wide OpenThat he got up went down Stairs
and found one of his Window Shutters broke open and on Examining the Room
discovered his Desk had been forced open in which was a Tin Japan Box and the
Top of a Womans Glove which had Twenty five Guineas in Gold and between Three and
Four pounds in Silver a pocket book containing a Bill drawn on
