Chimney Sweeper

Who Sayth that he Yesterday between Eleven
and Twelve oClock he not having any Clock
to appear in the That [..] he look at for
Employment he Went and broke open a
Door & an Apartment [..] ging to one
William Brewer< no role > a Chimney Sweeper in
Carrier [..] in the Parish of St Giles
in the Fields and in the said Apartment
he broke open a Box and Stolen there and
a Coat 2 Waistcoats One Pair of Breeches
one Shirt One Silk Hand [..] [..] &
one Linen do where he sold to a Jew as One Shirt for 9 Shillgs where was taken about his
[..] Neck when he was Apprehended
and one Half Crown peice & One Sis pence is
Silverall where Apparel and money
he knew to he the Property of James
Kent

had appartments in the same house

who on his Oath Saith [..] that Yesterday
Afternoon about 4 OClock when he came home to his
Lodgings William Brewer< no role > Present informed him
that the Door of his Appartment had been broke open
and that his (James Kents) Box had [..] been broke
open and all his Things Stolen ant and carried
awayand that he suspected the Prisoner John
Neale
< no role > to have been the Person and that he last
all the things above Mentioned in the Prisoner
Confess [..] way and that the Handkerchief found on the
Prisoners Neck is his Property
